A GOAL

FOOT MADE BALL IN GOAL
HALF JOY, HALF SAD FOR TEAMS, SIDES
SPARKS, SPIRIT LOST NOT

 This is a Haiku; I wanted to do something on sports.

Poetry is mostly written on Love, Lovers, God and Nature.

I just thought why I should not write on Sports. The idea came and I chose the most popular and widely played game which is of most interesting to me too, I just love to watch the game and I never miss the FIFA World Cups.

So, I need not describe much about these three lines. We all find when a Goal is done it brings such a lot of joy to one party and sorrow to the opponents, but I have found in the game the spirit is never lost and that’s the spirit of the game, you lose or win.

          If someone who is Great can only tell it to someone.
          The ego does not permit to say so.
          Or most times one is jealous or would not want to share; its deep rooted, sometimes I do not understand this behaviour, may be in to in something wrong is happening in them.

    I love that you chose sports!! I love American football!! Wow I did not realize that Pele played at the age of 70, that’s amazing and not only played but scored…incredible!! I love your Haiku too. You are so right there are two sides, the happy and the sad, but they both share the spirit!! And the second video was such a thrilling goal, well played Shiva!!
