Ye Malum Nahi Tha
Ye Malum Nahi Tha
Budapa kitna bhayanak hai ye malum nahi tha
Apna mansooba ko hila de gi ye malum nahi tha
Apne dost bhi door ho jayenge ye malum nahi tha
Sab jigar ke tukde alag honge ye malum nahi tha
Chere pe ronak aahista ghata jaye gi ye malum nahi tha
kuch istarah tanhai me zindagii guzar jayegi ye malum nahi tha

I Didn’t Know
Old age is so horrifying, I didn’t know
My mind set is shaken by, I didn’t know
My friends would go far away, I didn’t know
All relations close to heart have moved away, I didn’t know
Brightness on the face slowly diminishes, I didn’t know
In aloneness life shall pass by, I didn’t know

Very true and beautifully said, Shiva. As we grow old we become alone and no one seems to care that for sure is old age.

When loved one’s die in our presence we know but the knowing goes through many phases of development over our remaining years. I took care of my parents for many years and they both died in my presence at home. I will be 73 soon. My major concern re my own death is figuring out how I can take my wood carving tools and art supplies with me. So far my negotiations with death have been unproductive. I see you have put in the effort to translate your work into English. This should increase your audience and followers can appreciate your work with new epiphanies.

Thanks Carl always for your support.
I too lost my parents and am going through the phases of development of the remaining years.
I was wondering and happy to know your negotiations with death.
But your intention to take your tools alongwith You is surprising.
In that case everyone of us would want to take something with us. Hahaha
Never mind keep talking….
I thank you for asking me to translate my work, so I took it seriously and have done to all the posts.
You can read them and comment.
