SANDS OF TIME

Time immemorial, time to time existence in form passed away.
Humans for a while are a memory in hearts of loved
In whom they are memory they also passed in the sands of time
In times’s grip are all, nothing without the clutch
Time sweeps all beings alongwith, try to know, it has gone by
Not a single left behind to see, only dust or in wide sky or in the heavens
While in present everything looks beautiful, wonderful, enchanting, admirable, lovely
Everything becomes earth, dust, soil, air
Acceptance of time of what it shows now, or else, no wait, it flies makes a tale

We just have to be in the present and not to think of past or future or else even the present will go in the Sands of Time.

Now, who is your self that is a Big question.
The inner voice not your mind or body.
Going into details would cost pages.
For time being as you said keep on listening it shall do good.
Through that voice only you cook so well Gail.

Exactly! I also feel that way, while talking I feel someone else is doing that. That is why they say the Atman is not the mind nor the body.
Meditating much silently you start feeling so.

Definitely yes the more you think and analyse the more you experience. That is why in our scriptures they say do not believe in whatsoever anybody says be it a great seriously leader unless you experience do not belive.
It is called Nidhidyasana

I like a lot what you scripture says. It reminds me of the Buddha quote, “don’t believe what you hear, don’t believe what you see, don’t even believe what I say, unless you agree.”

Ok through the blogroll I can go through. Sometimes I find that bit difficult because you write so many types of posts.. What I meant was the ones which you want me to read special and favourite ones.
Erika you have been blogging for so many years now and I mine they said it is my 7th Anniversary in that I was totally not active for almost three years after this gap now I am feeling blogging had changed and even WordPress for that matter. Most old bloggers have gone or either inactive the new ones are so so, what I mean is, the charm is loosing. Do you also feel so. Please comment on that.
Anyways I shall come to you later during the day. See if you can, to give the links of your older posts.
Thanks

Shiva, I see. You know, I have my Daily Kind Quotes from Monday through Friday. To get easier access you can click on “Daily Kind Quotes” in my menu bar on top of my page. Then there is a poem each Tuesday and an article each Monday (except when I am on a break or do a song week like this week). So maybe you go from there. It is difficult to decide which post could be most interesting for you but I’d say you should check out the Monday posts. My last one got published on April 25.
I know what you mean regarding the changed atmosphere in our community. I think it has a lot to do with the grown busyness in many people’s lives. Many left therefore, and sadly some passed away. Also my life has gotten so much busier. Meanwhile, I have an employed job and my self-employment is booming. I had to limit my number of posts and my blogging time in gerneral for not going crazy.
But I think what happened is that some bloggers became for self-focused too. Their honest engagement and serious comments are lacking. Still, there is a wonderful core of followers who frequently show up, read, and comment content-related. You can tell from the comments who they are.
So, yes, I hear you. Sending you blessings, dear Shiva!

As always, you have a beautiful way with words, actually how to transform your spiritual thoughts into words, which is a very difficult thing to do. When I was a child I was mesmerized by those sand glasses, I would turn an watch it over and over.

Thanks Cornelia I agree that it is difficult cause this thought was in me for a long long time and I was looking for the words to transform the ideology, I was on to it when I wrote two lines next day lines came pouring and I always restrict the poem to nine or thirteen or eighteen it depends.
I am even today mesmerised about the hour glasses I have of all sizes from tiny to big.
Good you came I am so Happy. I was waiting for you to read the previous one ‘Birds Life Style’ if You find time please go through. Your comment always makes my day.
Have you written any blog posts. Sometimes I get it difficult to go to your blog page. Anyways..

anchored in us as an echo
we are time
in our short time
the goal is death
so ends the world in us
and the hope of eternity

Thank-you Shiva, I can relate to your pointing’s. 👉 Everything comes and goes: “The Divine play of form”. We are all time-bound in the world of form, but when we are present, we step out of time⌚ and become timeless, formless and joyful. Even if for a few moments, we are free in bliss. 😇🕯️☯️☮️

Time has its own pace nor can it be in any ones control. Maximum we can do is be in it’s present and doing so it gives all the possible positivities.
If we can understand about its silent features the more we are benefitted.
Thanks Pragalbha I did not want to miss your comment and presence here.

Another powerful one churned up by you.As children we were all fascinated by the sand glass. One of the most precious lessons taught to us in school.. Time n Tide Wait For No Man!
You have brought it out so beautifully, depicting our lives.A very powerful poem indeed, forcing us to think about our lives slipped by n slipping by!
