THE RIVER AND ME

THE RIVER AND ME

Somewhere Somehow The River takes birth on Earth

I too born in one part of Earth

As the flow continues more & more water collects

As I grew more & more experience collects

River crosses through mountains, terrains, forests, cities, villages

I cross through emotions, feelings, compassions, setbacks, people as body ages

The River journey feeds across, gives life, it enjoys

My journey goes on, feeding family, workers, paying taxes and interests, I enjoy

It just flows, no flowing back, ends up in vast Ocean

I came through, no looking back, end up in death in vast Endless Infinity

This is a beautiful analogy. The river continues to flow and perhaps similarly our memories will continue flowing once we submit ourselves unto the ocean.

Life has to go by such imaginations, so then we shall feel that nature is like us and vice versa.

Fantastic analogy, Shiva. The river continues to flow in the ocean the way we have to do one day and merge with the ocean. Too good

The river is a wise teacher. From moment to moment the river is completely different yet it has been the same river for thousands of years.

Water is the flow of life. Reminds me of that Bruce Lee saying………”Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it.”

Woha, simply mind beautiful analogy Shiva!

All those images of rivers looks like ideal places to explore, I feel blessed and grateful for the life i have which allows me to immerse myself in these wild beauties.

This brings back memories on an expedition I took part in the beautiful island nation of Sri Lanka in South Asia.

I set out on a journey to explore the longest river of Sri Lanka; River Mahaweli with a group of kayakers paddling for 3 long days.

And trust me when I say this, it was ‘heaven on earth” from lush greenaries to all the flora and fauna simply captivated me. Read the full story here, https://sachsattic.wordpress.com/2022/07/24/exploring-the-river-mahaweli-on-a-kayak/

Hello first let me tell you that this is an elaborate and beautiful comment.
      Thanks
It is so nice you have and had the opportunity to go all along the river in Srilanka and have arrived to the opinion of the analogy.
In this world we find many examples. Nature has provided us to enjoy but at the same time it is our duty to contribute towards its beauty.
