Storm of Troubles

Storm of Troubles

Like storm they come creating blackout

Shaking my thoughts inserting awful feelings

Pulling my basement make me shudder to breathe for life

I stand by my robust stem and roots

They shy in shame go out of sight for a while

In habit of creating hell on earth

Hiding and seeking craving to step-in

Only to come to see my daring tough looks

I possess no rooms for unwanted guests

Solution lasts for them is only to escape

Everyone in life faces troubles and problems be it financial, emotional, relationship break ups or health. Some face it much early in life or later. All of us have been dealing with them when they come one after the other, in a way we get trained.
There comes a time when all troubles come at a time like a storm and there lies the test of time. We have to face and handle them with patience and intelligence. We have to see them right in their face show them how strong we are and can be. Seeing back how we have come through in life having to solve and overcome such situations was our capacity and bravery. So we now have to show more of it when it has come like a storm. The more scope you give the more they enter inside. Keeping them at bay is a meticulous task.

We cannot avoid trouble since it is not always in our control and they are part of our development. But we can learn how to deal with them. The more we accept them and find ourselves through the faster we get the lesson.

We shouldn’t avoid the troubles that come our way, because they come for a reason, just like a lecture to learn from. They are our teachers, to look at them closely and analyze why they were brought to us.It is so often an unresolved issue in our lives which we didn’t pay attention to. Once we recognize the roots of it, we have a chance to work on it and get to enjoy that ” Aha moment”, “Oh that’s what it is teaching me”
Eventually it is simply ” The cause and effect”! Thank you Shiva for this deep post.
As always ” Minds together”, with greetings from Cornelia

Yes Shiva, thank you I have received it. I am watching in segments, since it is pretty long, by now through half of it. You know, watching something like this, I have to analyze each sentence he speaks and let it sink in. So that’s why I haven’t responded to you yet. I will comment later, once I am through the entire lecture, it is really interesting. I apologize that I haven’t replied to you earlier. Have a mindful weekend. ” Minds together” Cornelia

The opportunities when they come one by one I think its okay Patty. But when they suddenly come altogether maybe the mind is not always equipped to take them. It requires a special training I suppose. First let go of things, not to take them seriously and handle them one by one.
Here again intelligence and patience have to play their role. Isn’t?
As you said we have to learn and keep growing and pocket them safely, to bring them out when necessary. Hahaha.
      Thanks

Ah, dear Shiva. The mind is capable of more than we might believe or experience. How we choose to handle, address and thus take responsibility is all up to our self. We can control more than we probably think in such overwhelming situations 😉
So yes, intelligence and patience play their role. However, also gratitude for whatever life is teaching us, I believe. The good and the bad 😉

It is so true that the mind is capable of many things, how we choose to handle is a great job. It is like a wet sticky mud what ever you throw at it, it shall catch.
So as you said responsibility is all ours. You know habits are formed that way.

It seems Mind is constructed of two elements, space and wind. That is the reason it flies all around.
          OMG!

Loved this poem it expresses beautifully how we have to face and deal with adversity. Adversity is to make us stronger teaches how to deal with difficult situations and people. It is the manner in which we deal with adversity which defines us. Some issues seem to gnaw at us and we have to rise and maintain our strength.

Very well said! Oftentimes when faced with troubles, we find ourselves repeating in sorrow, ‘why me’; perhaps if we shifted our gaze to realise that Providence knows that we are indeed capable of facing that trouble and knows very well that we will emerge triumphant. It isn’t easy to change the narrative to ‘indeed, why not me’, a work in progress but we can be there, facing any storm with a smile.
