IN THE SILENCE OF FORESTS AND OCEANS

IN THE SILENCE OF FORESTS AND OCEANS

Life manifested forms time immemorial

Nature’s appearance seems quietude

Glimpses establish Ken

Close looks substantiate life in gear

Colossal energy ubiquitous

Animals, Plants, Creatures and Aquatic life living since then

Cheerful, Ecstatic, Joyous in their own sphere

Demonstrating life and death insignificant

Humans adopted change compulsive

Intelligence being foremost free to administer

Holocaust of other lives to their mission of civilized society

Sabotaged perception of their own consciousness

Have human minds turned inarticulate?

Isn’t it not late to comprehend?

Recognising significance of other life styles

End of ignorance lights up boundless visionary path

Existence so expansive to perceive ones of the ONE

In the silence of forests and oceans

I am happy to publish this Post on the Eve of “MAHASHIVARATRI” which is being celebrated in Spiritual Ecstasy all over the World and especially in India this 4th March 2019.
Wishing you All a great day. Let SHIVA shower upon All humans –Knowledge, Blessings and show the Path for the well being of All living things on this Planet.

    Har Har Mahadev
    Bom bom Bholey
    Long time no see.
For me Shiva is truth and beauty, the cycle of life, destruction followed by creation.

Hello Miriam I just finished my Shivaratri Pooja.
Showers of Blessings have come to You also.
In the back ground of my mind I was rather waiting for your arrival here and the excellent comment.
      Thanks for that.
Yes we are All one of the ONE.
Man has played with nature since beginning to full fill his motto. There is no excuse for that.
Don’t you think the other beings are so well behaved. All for themselves and most importantly have balanced this living Earth. Thanks to them also through Your comment. 😃

“End of ignorance lights up boundless visionary path” this is so true, so many refuse to see or accept this. Lovely piece and very thought-provoking. xx

      Thanks Etta.
Why they refuse or don’t accept is again their Ignorance. 😃
Man has to learn to live from the other living beings or else he is stepping to destroy the Planet.

Thanks Cornelia is it only the way with the words.
I always keep looking forward to your visit and comment. How do you feel about the thought and idea of a change in the Human attitude to take example of other lives who live a better life. Of course it leads to much controversial talks as the subject is so.
I only mean to say that We as Humans can use our intelligence in that direction.
Oh! Cornelia I tried to visit your blog several times but the blog portion was not opening, I could only see the home page and photos.
That I saw through my smart phone by WP App.
When I am on the desk top I shall visit You.
      Thanks
      😃

Very nice and eloquent! I like the gorgeous imagery in your poem to refer to all the elements of nature, expressing balance in the quietude though “cheerful” and “joyous in their own sphere”, which imply certain movements but always within this harmony. Love these verses:

“Animals, Plants, Creatures and Aquatic life living since then
Cheerful, Ecstatic, Joyous in their own sphere
    Demonstrating life and death insignificant”

Your piece reaches its climax when human intelligence is used wrongly and creates the “holocaust of other lives”. These lines are very powerful:

    “Humans adopted change compulsive
Intelligence being foremost free to administer
Holocaust of other lives to their mission of civilized society
Sabotaged perception of their own consciousness
    Have human minds turned inarticulate?
Isn’t it not late to comprehend?”

I like the last line here because it opens a window to hope for a better humanity.

The end of your poem is perfect as you go back to the title and origin of your writing. Why can’t we learn to listen to the silence of nature?

The video is also lovely, so well done.
