Yes Ben! I cant say No to You.
Hahaha
Most times we see ourselves in the midst of some awful situation, we tend not to answer our own selves and we are inclined to the wishes and whims of others.
We would have surrendered to them by some or the other means, when it comes to saying No it would have been difficult.
Thanks

Loved it!
In a few words you fitted the power of Refusal and Acceptence. It is our call to who we choose to become. I pray we have access to the strength required to balance the white and the black and no matter what, remember to be humane.

Thanks, so you have been here while I was there at yours.
To be human, we sometimes are in the clutches and claws of someone unworthy.
OMG! Save the Worthy.
Thanks for your brilliant observations, Tanushree.

My World is Your World Dear.
Only the understanding of it changes in our thoughts and accordingly we put them in Words.
You all enjoy the hitting, I too do.

Profound words there Shiva. It is extremely important to understand that we have the power to say No and shouldn’t shy away from using it when we want. Most time we are not able to do it.

The Asking makes so, that is why we are not able to do it. We would have asked them for favours in the past, be it Money, Material or anything that was valuable to both. Hahaha
That is life… it takes us on…..

Shiva, nice to see you again. As to saying NO , yes, there are in retrospect many times I would have saved myself grief if I just simply said no instead of trying polite evasions.
Will brave this advice of yours.😊 .

Yes Miriam you said it.
It is a simple No that saves us of future griefs isn’t?
The brave comes when favours not asked. Spontaneous! 😉

I think it all depends on the circumstances and situations to say NO. Also saying No, doesn’t mean saying YES.

Under normal circumstances to say No or Yes is normal.
But when it comes to situations to say No we tend not to or feel the other party is hurt or are in their favour.
So when we stop asking for favours or shall not be emotionally tied up, we can frankly say a big NO.
That is what it means. Ahh saying NO of course means no saying YES.

Thanks and that’s the point.
It is simple when we don’t ask for any type of favours we can say NO or as you put it without even uttering it, it shall mean that.
Be Happy Cornelia

This is nice. It’s not easy to say no. One of the earliest articles I presented on radio in the 80s that attracted so much attention to me was on saying no.

Oooh! Ngobesing this is nostalgic.
It made you remember your 80s in your should I say in your 70s.
It sounds easy but sounding it in the air is difficult. Some sort of diplomacy is essential.
Can you throw light upon that here as to what and how it attracted attention in your programs on the radio. It shall help my readers.
Thanks

We should have the courage and will to ask for no favours or any type of things from others then the saying NO shall come easily, whether we want or no of the things. It shall no doubt be a solution with no problems.
Hope you now understood clearly.

Yes so agree with you, Shiva. Why must we say No to everything when we have such positive atmosphere and where it is so nice to say No when we do not want things. It is so better to say that and do things in our way instead of listening to others. Great post.

Here the NO says that very frankly one is not willing to yield to others wishes nor is wanting to share our give something someone wants.
That shall be done only when one stops to ask for favours and material things.
Thats all Kamal

What a beautiful n power packed quote.Shiva! We keep mulling n you as usual in your inimitable style capture our interest!! A lovely humane thought.
No n Yes are so powerful words. that a relationship can be built or broken in a second. !
We., as individuals already have a chosen lane,n to divert from it,is rather difficult.
Each person, each situation is different , each reaction also could be different . Many of us cannot utter an empathetic No .. to a near n dear one!
Each of us have to take our own call.
We have to be very emotionally strong to say No!
