Mind-Inner Sunshine

Mind-Inner Sunshine

Mind the inner sunshine

Sun the outer

They have brighter and hazy moments

Both covered by their own dark clouds

Once they get cleared

They glow and outshine

    Good work Shiva,

Inner sunshine is important like our great sun. Without both, we cannot live 🙂

    Thank you

      Yes Ben very well said.
Here the dark clouds that matter, otherwise both are as pristine and fresh.
      Thanks

Thank you Shiva! I love it…and you are right, both have their dark clouds at times which dim their shine, but when the clouds move on, once again they are bright!! I hope you have very few clouds! Very cleverly done. 🙂

Deb! Here again a few thoughts to express.
Mind is closest to the self, then comes the senses and body. Mind has the other things in front of it, that is the world and that is the cloudy part, when it gets cleared of all that junk it becomes as pure as the ‘Self’. Unlike the Sun, it is as bright as ever and is only covered by the real dark clouds.
I hope so I have very few clouds. 🙂
Hugs to my Own Self and You

Do you think the mind is closest to the self or do you think feelings are closest to the self. I think it might be feelings. Like when you have a hunch or your intuition…that is the self talking to the mind…don’t you think?
Yes hugs to my Own Self and You too,

Yes Mind is the closest. It takes different roles and acts as feelings, karmas connected to ego and other actions. with blessings of the soul all activity is going on.
There are three bodies the ‘Physical’ (Gross) ‘Subtle’ and ‘Causal’
To understand it more better and in detail I give here a link connected to this subject.
          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Bodies_Doctrine_(Vedanta)#Sthula_sarira_-_gross_body

The other two bodies keep transmigrating after the physical or gross body dies. Until one gets enlightened and self becomes one with the supreme self.
Why enlightenment does not happen so easily is of the dark clouds I have mentioned, until they get cleared …..
There is the discretion power in everyone that is what keeps talking with mind.
          Have a nice enlightened Sunday.
          Shiva
          Hugs

Ahhh but there is a fourth, turiya, perhaps that’s what I experienced. I giggled at the fact that the physical was also referred to as gross.
Thanks for the link, I enjoyed it. I think enlightenment doesn’t happen so easily because people don’t take the time to stop and let it happen, always too busy…go, go, go.
            Thanks for enlightening me. ☺
Wishing you a wonderful week ahead.
            Hugs,

Yes that is what you experienced, but a just a jerk. Why Gross is it comprises of all the bodies.
People are not aware, that is all again the mind has played with the senses and taken pleasure. That is also derived from the Self. 😃

Gross is also used a slang term here that means something distasteful or yucky, that’s why I giggled. I like it when my mind plays with my senses and from it comes pleasure!! 😁

Why not is because the whole world is trapped and therefore it is unable to look into the Inner Sunshine.
Where and when shall there be time….Hahaha
