Knowledge is endless

Knowledge is endless
But
Enlightenment is anytime

This quote is in continuity of my immediate previous post, “Enlighten Knowledge”.

It is a fact that came to my mind while I was replying to Dahlia on her beautiful comment on that post; she is on my Follow and one of my ardent readers and a very good Blogger friend. She herself has a fantastic Blog worth a visit. Please visit Dahlia and share your ideas and experiences with her.

In regard to the quote there is so much of knowledge to be known but how much are we to know is a big question. To lead a happy life and to cater to our needs and the demands of our profession, vocation or jobs we are to acquire certain amount of knowledge. Apart from that, what is it that is needed as far as to lead a happy life. Questions arise to all – Why is this life? What is this life? For what is the purpose, that we are here, in this vast universe on a tiny planet which we call as Earth? Such are the questions which pester or bother us in life at some point of time. This has been the state of affairs not only now but since millenniums past.

Great men have explored and have found the answers for them; so they have been called sages, saints, rishis and enlightened persons.

Knowledge has been classified as two types. Knowledge that which is concerned to our practical day to day life and the other one is to know of our own self, thereby the secret of the existential.

To know about the transcendental knowledge, there are various schools of thought. Philosophies that preach and mythologies proclaim of certain facts. All these do say and give answers to questions that arise. So, then, which one or to what extent are we to know of these is a big question.

We have to be in the path. Enlightenment may happen anytime to anyone. It may take a second, a few years or so many lives.

Check the Oscillation of the Mind.

Be a witness to the Mind.

I feel some of you are already in the path and have an inclination to the spiritual world or want to know more of the beyond. Everyone in their own way has reached to a certain extent in the path; one needs to meet someone who could show the path further, one who shall throw light upon the way. Apart from your personal study, listening to discourses and/or angel messages there are few more things on the path one can adopt.

I give here below the links to some of the sites that may lead you to your continued studies in the wake of enlightenment.

Let me tell you some thing.
In India there is a tradition. During marriage or marriage anniversaries, one who wishes the 💑 couple asks the name of her husband or his wife’s name both are to tell the name of their spouse. While telling the wife and/or the husband tells the name with some gist of words be it like a poetry or prose at they tell the name it may be of few lines. The lines contain some meaningful insight of the depth of love and attachment or of the on going situation. When all standing around them when they come to know the insightful meaning there shall be an applause.
But unfortunately such traditions are missing.
Why I told you this is, both your two comments here are leading to make one scratch the head. The insightful implied meaning is to be understood.
      Could you explain them please.
      Knowledge is endless….. hahaha.

I agree absolutely 100% with your beautiful post on Knowledge and Enlightment. Knowledge can be gained at anytime when one wants but Enlightment comes only when you have unlearnt what you know and an enlighted person will never boast or say anything out of context too. He can be anywhere and doing anything in life. Very well informative post.

Growing up at my house, the dinner conversation often turned to metaphysical topics. My father always said that the most interesting and important question we as humans can ask is “why are we here”? I have been an avid reader of all spiritual traditions, so I feel I am fairly well versed on the common search for the meaning of life that is a feature of all of them. Thank you for reminding me!

The word ‘common’you have used makes it simply great again. Yes that was the common search of all those for the meaning of life. But unfortunately misunderstood which have given rise to the various religions of this world.

Anoop! Thanks for the topics chosen for me to write. Yes these are wonderful topics and are very elaborate. Such subjects are are available in different forms, I mean Books, Scriptures, ebooks, Wikipedia and so on. Some bloggers are also trying to post them through their travel posts.
What I feel is, in a blog post your content should not be too long as bloggers and readers do not find time to read very long posts. I did learn it a little early after I started my blog. Readers tend to go away without reading it completely. I hope you understand.
With the same topics you find some thing to join in and write, keeping intact the subject as it is, but you are conveying something else apart from that, or making it very short and presenting it would be advisable.
I will give example of a few posts of mine for your convenience, in which I have done that. But some posts are such you are bound to make the post so big. My own Post “Greatest Musicians and Lyricists of Bollywood” is one such you cannot condense. Daily people view it but they do not finish reading it, only those who are very interested shall read and comment. A few of them have asked me to split the post in series.
Here are the posts you can refer:

I have been listening to Abraham/Esther Hicks again recently and it is put that our non-physical being chose our physical being to be able to enjoy all of the wonderful feelings life has to offer. Joy, laughter, elation, happiness, peace, excitement, thrills, love, appreciation, gratitude, nothing grand just the simple pleasure in life. There’s no big reason we are here other than that. That really resonates with me and makes sense, our non-physical being (inner being, soul, spirit) does not have the capability to touch, see, smell, hear, taste so it needs a physical being to do so. It’s so simple, yet we make it so complicated.
