TURN BACK

Hell One Step Ahead

Turn Back What’s In Store For You

Heaven One Step Front

Another Haiku for Me, You and Everyone.

We are in the midst of things going on in this world and they are individual experiences. The world shows everyone its share. Everyone share it as they want.

Most times we to tend towards the attractions of the mundane world, and we are gripped into its claws. It is a very strange situation ahead of us as to what to do next; we may be in a dilemma to take a decision.

We always turn our face towards the worldly pleasures, which may lead us to unforeseen circumstances which may cause trouble and disharmony. Money has been given the most important criteria, causing dishonesty, displeasure, animosity and hatred ….the list is endless.

Confronting ourselves into a Hell like situation, causing stress and inviting problems.

Intelligence is one thing that helps and to lead life in this world one has to be intelligent. We can term it as – Living Life Intelligently. Under the above circumstances applying intelligence shall make one to turn back.

Turn back to see Heaven is waiting for us and is cordially inviting. One step in front of us shall change life permanently for good. Changing of attitudes, Moving always in Good Company, Spreading Love, Spiritual thoughts, Loving nature, Contentment, Wishing for the Good of everyone, Cultivating Good Habits, Health Consciousness, Love for Animals and Birds, so on and so forth….shall make life Heavenly.

In a way Hell and Heaven are both here on this earth; why should we imagine them to be somewhere in the sky. Maybe some secrets are to be dealt like this. Ha! Ha!! Ha!!!

We have to work hard to rid ourselves of thoughts that will lead us in the wrong direction. Our natures are always fighting between the World and the Spirit. Good piece, Shiva. —- Suzanne

Filled with wisdom. Life is truly what we make of it and we can make our Heaven or our Hell right where we are. I would rather strive for the heavenly path.

Ohhhh, good morning (or afternoon/evening) Shiva. As for me, I believe that there is not one human being that is without fault. We are a fallen race. Not one is pure. No matter how hard we may try. We all have sin. There is a way to find forgiveness though, thank God. It’s not by what we do though, because sin will always be there. It’s part of us. I’m so thankful that God is merciful and full of grace.
It’s true that money can cause all sorts of harm. Money is a tool to be used with wisdom, but even the Bible says, ‘it is the root of all sorts of evil’. Like you said, ‘dishonesty, a false sense of pleasure, hatred…’
I hope you are doing well and in good health. I’m sure it’s getting pretty hot there by now. As for us down south, it’s getting cold. 11 degrees celsius this morning. Brrrrr.

My Dear Shiva, that is quite a good Haiku, and Congratulations on that. …Are You still worrying about how they are received? 🙂

Heaven, Hell… To me it seems they are words for those who have things in Plenty. The Poor have Neither the Time nor the Energy to think about these things.

And Why should they? ‘They’ are Not the Greedy ones, ‘They’ are not worshiping Money, ‘They’ are Not the Dishonest ones.

It is those who have a Lot Materialistically that should Worry about Heaven and Hell!

    BEAUTIFUL pictures!

    Thanks for Sharing. 🙂

      Swamiji!
You made me remember the words of Swami Vivekananda.
” Try as much not to teach Spirituality and about Salvation to the Poor and Rich, as the Poor are starved and are busy trying to fill their stomach and the Rich have no time for that and are busy trying to fill their pockets.”
So you are true about what you say.
Today is Father’s Day and I bow to you for the blessings.
      Thanks

        Thank You, Very much Shiva!

I agree that both groups have their minds on other things. And actually that is true for the Middle group too.

But for me, Spirituality is not something in the Air, but which Decides the Way I am going to live.

As Such Each and Every Individual, and Each and Every Group and Nation need Spirituality.

And, whether they want it or not, We have to Duty to Speak about it. It is Not received, in Many cases, the Words get scattered in the Air. But, it will reach those who are Ready for it, ONLY if We keep Speaking.

After all, that is the meaning of ‘Nishkaama Karm!’

You may be Sure that You have my Blessings and Well Wishes.

        Hearty Regards and Love. 🙂

I agree with all that you have said.
Its true that we HAVE to speak of spirituality. I think our ancestors have been doing that since ages that which has been received by us till date.
Its also true that it will be received by the (“Adhikari” ) one who is eligible and ready to receive it.
Thanks again for contributing your esteemed thoughts here.
          Love to you and Namaskars!

Yes, heaven and hell are both in this world. It is not a place we can go but a way of looking at the world. What we seek we will find, what we sow we will reap. So let’s sow heaven seeds and reap the peace. Let’s seek the good and blessing in this world and give it our energy and we will make the light brighter every single day!

Shiva, I can’t agree more with you, that’s what I live by. Sometimes I wonder is this is the hell on earth we live. But eventually it’s all what we make up in our mind, it’s a decision we make. All healing and inspiration comes from within us, it’s already there, we don’t have to look far. Thank you for sharing your wonderful Haiku.

Exactly! It is what I want to convey and I agree with You.
You have already turned back and there lies the necessity not to agree with me.
The mind plays a very important role always. It is what makes one to turn back and as you say it’s already there not too far just one step in front.
      Have a nice weekend.

You are right Shiva, heaven and hell are both here on earth and we get to decide which direction we want to head towards. Even if we feel we are in hell, there is always something we can find, even if it’s within our mind, that is heaven. I love all your pictures, I’m partial to the dog ones!!

I think we need to stop first. We are in so much of a hurry to reach everywhere and do everything that we are neither enjoying nor introspecting. Once we stop and consider our actions and thoughts, as you said, there will be the need to turn back. 🙂

Yes! We have to stop unless you cannot see what is in front or back. Unless we stop we will not be able to know. Otherwise life shall go just like that, only for us to realise after having spent the days just to see, turning back, life has passed so much that there isn’t much ahead.
